August Meeting, New/Old Location

We’re moving back, sort of. For the month of August, after almost two years in two different locations, we’re going back to our roots. It will be the same building, maybe different rooms and a different owner. So starting with the August 2014 meeting we will be at the, Orange Coast Unitarian Church, 2845 Mesa Verde Dr E, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Doors #3 and #4. If you enter from Adams, go in the Piecemakers driveway and drive to the back of the complex. If you enter from Mesa Verde turn north from Adams and its the first driveway on the left.

Doors open around 6:30 for a chance to visit and see what others have done. The meeting officially starts at 7:00 after some brief announcements we have our demos, then board member announcements, members sharing what they’ve done. Then we break for about 15 min buy raffle tickets, do any swaps, take a closer look at others work. After the break we have our raffle, set any dates and any concluding business ending around 9:00

If you want to participate in the August challenge it will be Sea Glass Charms. Bring 20 to swap with others.  Here is al tutorial with sea glass instructions at the end.

Some members meet beforehand around 5:30 for dinner before the meeting. If you’d like to join them, they’ll be at the El Pollo Loco, 3131 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
