IN Dunes National Seashore on lake Michigan (38)

Hello and welcome to my OCPCG page.

I studied art at the University of West Ga. While raising my daughter and working full time. I was the 1st place winner of the 2008 Juried Student Exhibition Award. I was never able to finish my degree. So close and yet so far….. LOL

I have worked in many different mediums from painting & drawling to sculpture.
While traveling through Alaska I discovered Polymer clay and became fascinated with the vast variety of ways it could be used. I especially enjoy playing with vibrant colors and making functional art. I do have to be cautious though because I have become a canning junkie and get lost for hours designing and making new canes. I strive, and hope to someday achieve the level and quality of work of my piers and the pioneers of this “new clay”.

In the meantime I enjoy sharing what I have learned so far. I work and teach in my home studio in Wildomar, and at my local Hobby Lobby and accept other teaching assignments. I sell my functional art, as well as polymer clay supplies such as tissue blades and PMY II sealant online and through local art shows. I love living my dream of being a full time artist.
I hope you enjoy what you see and pass it along to your friends.

Happy Claying!
Linda
